About FPS 2026

The Symposium will be hosted by the Université du Québec en Outaouais on October 13-16, 2026, in Gatineau, Canada.

The Symposium will include a half-day industrial forum on October 13, 2026.

Foundations & Practice of Security (FPS) is an international symposium dedicated to the foundations and practical applications of cybersecurity. Since its first edition in 2008, FPS has brought together researchers, practitioners, and experts from various fields each year to exchange on scientific advances, methods, tools, and concrete applications related to the protection of systems, data, and digital infrastructures.

In a context shaped by the growing interconnection of digital environments, the rise of artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty issues, and the rapid evolution of cyber threats, FPS provides a privileged forum for presenting theoretical and applied work in cybersecurity and cyber resilience. The conference encourages interdisciplinary contributions covering, among others, methodological approaches, simulations, demonstrations, case studies, as well as experimental and practical evaluations.

FPS 2026, which will be held from October 13 to 16, 2026, in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, will continue this tradition by fostering exchanges among academic, industrial, and institutional communities around current and future cybersecurity challenges.
