The FPS 2026 Industrial Track & Forum provides a dedicated venue for researchers, practitioners, technology leaders, and cybersecurity professionals to share practical experiences, real-world challenges, innovative solutions, and lessons learned from the development and deployment of security and privacy technologies.
The track aims to strengthen interaction between industry and academia and foster discussion around emerging cybersecurity challenges, operational experience, and opportunities for research-industry collaboration. We welcome real-world deployments, industrial case studies, experience reports, applied research, tools, demonstrations, emerging challenges, and lessons learned, including both successful approaches and challenges encountered in practice.

- Cloud, Edge, IoT, and Critical-Infrastructure Security — security and resilience of operational and industrial environments;
- Cyber Resilience and Digital Sovereignty — business continuity, recovery, critical infrastructure protection, and technology dependencies;
- Privacy, Identity, and Data Protection — privacy engineering, identity and access management, zero trust, and privacy-enhancing technologies;
- Applied Security Engineering — security architectures, tools, platforms, testing, monitoring, and deployment experiences;
- Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance — regulatory challenges and organizational cybersecurity practices;
- Human Factors and Usable Security — security awareness, user behavior, social engineering, human-centered security, and security education;
- Emerging Cybersecurity Challenges and Industry Needs — evolving threats, emerging technologies, real-world security challenges, industry priorities, and future cybersecurity needs.
Types of Contributions
We welcome practice-oriented contributions including:
- Industrial case studies and deployment experiences;
- Experience and lessons-learned reports, including unsuccessful approaches and operational challenges;
- Applied research with clear industrial relevance;
- Security tools, platforms, prototypes, and demonstrations;
- Position papers identifying emerging industry challenges and research needs;
- Evaluations conducted in real-world or operational environments.
Submission Guidelines
Industrial Track submissions must include at least one author with a non-academic affiliation and should report work motivated by, evaluated in, or applied to real-world industrial or operational settings.
Paper length: 4–10 pages, including references and appendices

Review: Double-blind
Submissions must not substantially overlap with work already published or simultaneously submitted to another venue with proceedings.
FPS 2026 is an in-person conference. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present the work on site.
Review and Publication
Submissions will be evaluated with emphasis on the practical value of the contribution as well as its technical quality. Review criteria include practical relevance, novelty or value of the experience, clarity, technical quality, real-world impact, and potential to stimulate discussion and collaboration.
Accepted and presented papers are intended for the FPS 2026 Springer LNCS post-proceedings, subject to publication requirements and final confirmation by the organizers.
