{"id":342,"date":"2026-09-04T18:06:21","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T18:06:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fps2026.uqo.ca\/?page_id=342"},"modified":"2026-09-16T02:13:44","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T02:13:44","slug":"call-for-posters-fps-2026","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fps2026.uqo.ca\/?page_id=342","title":{"rendered":"Call for Posters \u2013 FPS 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of <strong>FPS 2026<\/strong>, we invite members of the cybersecurity research community, particularly <strong>students and early-stage researchers<\/strong>, to submit poster abstracts on topics relevant to the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accepted posters will be displayed throughout the conference. The <strong>Poster Session will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM<\/strong>. Presenters are expected to be available during the session to discuss their work and answer questions from attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Best Poster Award<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A jury will evaluate the accepted posters and select the recipient of the <strong>FPS 2026 Best Poster Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The winner will receive a $1,000 prize.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Best Poster Award will be announced during the <strong>Gala Dinner on Thursday, October 15, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authors of selected outstanding posters will also be invited to submit a <strong>short paper for inclusion in the FPS 2026 conference proceedings<\/strong>, subject to positive peer review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submission Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Poster proposals must be submitted through <strong>EasyChair<\/strong> as an <strong>abstract in English, not exceeding 500 words<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abstracts may describe <strong>preliminary results, ongoing research, novel research ideas, or recently completed work<\/strong> within the scope of FPS 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At this stage, <strong>only the abstract is required<\/strong>.
